I am one of the Briarwood School students who used to ride on Mrs. Moody's bus.  She took such good care of us!  And now God is taking good care of her!  May He continue to hold you tenderly in His arms during this time of loss.  Mrs. Moody was precious to so many of us.  I can see her face and hear her voice as if it were yesterday.

I was blessed to know Mary June through the Hastings Branch Library. I was the branch manager there for only a year, but in that time I got to know Mary June and enjoyed every minute of it. She always told me what she really thought and had such a fabulous sense of humor. She loved her community and her library and her family and that was evident in all her good works. I will miss Mary June- she was one of a kind. My thoughts and prayers are with her family-Amy

One day a lady kept complaining about the noise in the Library and she especially targeted Mary June.  I tried to help the lady understand the situation, but she was very unpleasant.  Then, without knowing what has just happened, Mary June came up to the desk and said hello to the lady and invited her to join the Book Group and have some refreshments.  She was so sweet and friendly to this lady who had just been so unpleasant; it really was one of those moments that you see in the movies.   There are not enough words to express the gratitude I feel for having known Mary June, and for the brief time I did, I felt like I had a great friend.

Dear Family of Mary June...What a life of love and giving Mary June lived! She was so much a part of our growing up in FBC, Palatka...what was a youth event without her steady and do-what-it-takes presence. I am so blessed to know her. My heart is forever hers. Please know that we love you and ask God's special comfort in this loss, and are so thankful for the gift of salvation that allow her to be with the Jesus she loved and served. That same gift gives us the promise of a reunion when our time comes. Love to all of you, Kenny
