JEANNE C. WILLIAMS

      Jeanne C. Williams, age 64, of East Palatka died on Thursday, October 29, 2009 after a lengthy illness.  She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hazouri and husband, James and grandchildren, Tiffany, Christian and Donna-Faith Hazouri all of Keystone Heights, a sister, Marleen Williams of East Palatka, a brother, Richard Williams and wife, Jeanne of Ft. Walton Beach, father, Norman Pete Williams of Melbourne, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Lesley Williams.

Jeanne was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up all over the world as the dependent of a career Air Force pilot.  She returned to Jacksonville in 1970, went to work at Florida Community College, obtained her degree in drafting and participated in many Craft Shows with her intricate and inspired hand sewn creations.  She retired from FCCJ after 34 years and moved to East Palatka, where she continued to sew her crafts, becoming active with the Crafters group at St. James United Methodist Church.  She leaves behind many people who were touched by her generosity, humor and who loved her very much.
