DALLAS ARIAIL Dallas Ariail, age 60 of Satsuma, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Born in Commerce, Georgia, he had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. Dallas was a 1966 Graduate of Palatka Senior High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of GEMID, a cable installation company for many years and had worked with Klass Communications in Severance, NY along with Maztech and Cox Cable in Oklahoma. As his hobbies, he enjoyed guns, hunting, fishing, motorcycles and scuba diving and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by a son, Casey Howe of Palatka, a brother, Daniel Ariail of Corpus Christi, TX, a daughter, Jessica Stamper of Ocala, a sister, Debra Ariail Donoghue and husband, Vincent of Jacksonville, 2 grandchildren, Lillian Casey Howe and Amelia Grace Howe both of Palatka, 2 nieces, Tina Grace Wilkinson of Jacksonville, Melynda Kay Bulger of Pensacola, Dallas’ lifelong companion, Patricia “Pat” Godwin of Satsuma, great-nephew, Michael Thomas Bulger of Pensacola, an uncle, R.L. Ariail and wife, Frankie of Irmo, SC, a special cousin, Joye Cathcart and husband, Bill of Maggie Valley, NC and special friend and co-worker, Joe Huttlinger and wife, Angela of West Palm Beach. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Ben Tippett officiating.
