GEORGE D. BUCKLEY, JR.

 George D. Buckley, Jr., age 73 of Palatka passed away, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Putnam Community Medical Center.  A native of Tampa, he had resided in Palatka for the last 15 years coming from New Port Richey.  As his hobby, he enjoyed genealogy and had researched his family history dating back to the 1200’s.  Mr. Buckley was of the Episcopal Faith. 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dannie Buckley, a son, Michael Buckley of Foley, AL, 2 daughters, Carole Hudson of Foley, AL, Sally Roach of Waynesville, NC, step-daughter, Linda Wall, step- son, Michael Norton, a sister, Betty Buckley of Tampa, FL and 2 granddaughters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
