Louise D. Seeley, age 97, of San Mateo, passed away, Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center.  She was a native of Silver Springs, MD, and resided in Putnam County since 1980 coming from Miami.  She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of San Mateo.  She had also attended Dunns Creek Baptist Church.  Mrs. Seeley enjoyed crocheting and cooking. 

She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce Conkey and wife, Barbara of San Mateo and Douglas Conkey of Gainesville, 3 grandchildren, Colleen Futch and husband, Daryll, Bruce Conkey and wife, Jennifer and Douglas Conkey, Jr. and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 6:00 Pm, Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Reverend Leroy Lewis officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 Pm until the time of services until 6:00.  Burial will be Friday, 1:00 PM, June 12, 2009 at Oak Hill West Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
