DOLORES JEAN HARRACKS

Dolores Jean Harracks, age 59 of Interlachen, passed away, Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Putnam Community Medical Center following an extended illness.  A native of Rochester, NY, she had lived in the area since 1991 coming from Ft. Pierce.  Dolores was a member of Fleet Reserve #183 in Interlachen, which she considered her home away from home.  She loved photography and enjoyed gardening.  She was a member of the United Church of God in Ocala. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Rook and Pauline Rook and a son, Aaron Louis Phillips.

Dolores is survived by her husband on 13 years, Gary Joe Harracks, children, Carl Leroy Phillips, Jr., Jean Phillips Melton, Donna Mae Phillips Johnson, Michelle Centers, Gary Alan Harracks, Tammy Lynn Davis, Deborah Whitright, Joseph Harracks, brother, Aaron Louis Rook and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2009 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Interlachen with Brother Richard Thompson officiating.  Burial of ashes will take place in Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
