MAGGIE FARMER 

Maggie Farmer, 95, of Hawthorne passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center following an extended illness.  Ms. Farmer lived in Hawthorne since 1978, coming from New Port Richie.  She worked as a supervisor in the grinding department at C.P. Clare Company in Chicago for 30 years.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and designing floral arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband,  Zollie Farmer.

She is survived by 3 sons and a daughter, Agie Farmer of Killeen, TX, Marie Ratliff of Interlachen, FL, Clarida Farmer of Buffalo Grove, IL, and Ed Farmer of Hawthorne, FL, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 1, 2009 at Naomi Old Regular Baptist Church in Hollister with Elders Terry Fuller (moderator), Richard Lowe, Chris Watts, Albert Hamilton and Billy Adair officiating.  Burial will follow at Naomi Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Naomi Old Regular Baptist Church.
