WE DIDNT GET TO SEE THE DAY TO DAY THINGS THAT YOU DID. I REALIZE NOW THAT HE WAS LOVED MORE THAN I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY IMAGINED. TO SAY I WILL MISS HIM,OF COURSE,IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. THOUGH WE HAD OUR TOUGH TIMES,AS ALL FAMILIES DO, I STILL LOVED HIM VERY MUCH AND HE WAS A GREAT UNCLE TO MY KIDS. WE LOVE YOU RICHARD AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN ALSO. I feel I have lost a brother. After my divorce I lost touch with Richard and this is something I will regret for the rest of my life. I lost my mom and dad within a 5 year period and belive me I know how hard this is for all of you. Just remember I am here for you and if I can do anything to help you through this very hard time please feel free to call me. Dustin has my e-mail and phone number. I can't bring myself to attend the funeral as I am not very good with that sort of thing. But remember always that I love each and every one of you. I am sure Richard is in heaven taking care of those that need taken care of children, animals and the elderly. I hope one day I will be able to see him again and tell him how sorry I am for not keeping in touch. God bless and be strong as I am sure Richard would say " don't cry for me as I am in a better place, waiting for you". Johnny Adkins Johnny Adkins ~ Keystone Heights,Fla
Richard's death is such a shock to us. He was such a delightful visitor to our home. We enjoyed many evenings playing games with him and having him on vacation with us in North Carolina and at Panama City. He just won't seem the same to be at Brent and Spring's and not have Richard (BaBa) playing with Kennedy and Ben and socializing with us. He was such a kind, giving, wonderful man and we will truly miss him!!!! Tom and Mary Hatfield ~ Lake Charles, LA
